Elena Baz Encinas

Originally from Spain, Elena Baz is a cinematographer known for her unique visual sensitivity and storytelling approach. She holds a Master’s in Cinematography from ESCAC in Barcelona, where she refined her craft and developed her creative voice. Her academic journey began at Carlos III University of Madrid, where she earned a degree in Audiovisual Media with a bilingual distinction in English, complemented by an Erasmus scholarship in Lyon, the birthplace of cinema, which profoundly influenced her perspective on the art form. Elena also trained at the prestigious EICTV in Cuba, completing a workshop on Lighting and Visual Continuity, further enhancing her technical and artistic expertise. Passionate about exploring human emotions and creating captivating atmospheres, she has made her mark in the industry with her creative vision and technical versatility. With a deep understanding of cinematic language, her work seamlessly connects the visual with the emotional, immersing audiences in stories that delve into both reality and the subtleties of the human experience.
