Matt Belbin

I’m a Berlin-based creative producer with over 10 years of experience in filmmaking, particularly in documentary work. Born in California to an English father and a Thai mother, I was raised in Hong Kong and have a rich multicultural background that informs my perspective and creativity. After graduating from Prague Film School, I continued my education at the Met Film School in Berlin in 2012. Since then, I’ve co-directed and edited the award-winning documentary Sun Village and spent over five years as a Video Producer for OneFootball. Now, I work as a freelance Videographer and Editor, splitting my time between Berlin and Thailand. I thrive in dynamic, freewheeling environments, and always love a challenging scenario to solve visually. Proficient in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc), and a strong background in social media video production, content design, videography, and color grading.
